What kind of consequences have you found to be effective when dealing with a child with an attachment disorder? Our 8yr AD slapped a girl at school today. Having her apologize to the girl isn't going to mean anything to our daughter. She simply doesn't seem to care about anyone other than herself....

What kind of consequence would you recommend for a child with an attachment disorder? Our AD (8) slapped a girl at school today. Making her tell her sorry is a pretty moot point, as she really doesn't care. It won't mean anything to her. :grr:
