I was adopted at age 18 months by my foster parents. They had received me as a foster child at age 4 months and in the 1970's, foster parents weren't encouraged to adopt the children they cared for so this was an anomaly at that time.

Wow, not good news. There is still more testing to do but they were throwing out words like "emotionally disturbed, special school, bussing." We live in a smaller town and they were talking about bussing the girls an hour from home to get to school with more services.
